Jennifer Keller is President and Chief Operating Officer of Land Tejas, one of the Houston area’s most prolific developers of master planned communities. In her role, Ms. Keller is responsible for the company’s growth, operations, sales and marketing activities. Established in 1997, Land Tejas has developed more than 10,000 acres of land across 20 communities, some of which have achieved national ranking status.
Ms. Keller’s experience spans a broad range of disciplines, such as land acquisition, land development, market analysis, financial analysis, product strategy, land development engineering, and water resources engineering. Prior to joining Land Tejas, Ms. Keller was the Senior Vice President of the Houston Division of KB Home, a highly recognized and publicly traded homebuilding company. During her 10-year tenure at KB Home, she oversaw the acquisition, entitlement and development of more than 3,000 acres of land comprising 10,000 single-family lots.
Prior to KB Home, Ms. Keller was Director of Land Development at AECOM, a publicly traded Fortune 500 professional services company operating in 150 countries around the world. During her 12 years at AECOM, she acquired extensive knowledge in both land development engineering and water resources engineering. At AECOM, she oversaw the engineering planning and production of more than 4,000 single-family lots throughout Houston, including master-planned communities such as Greatwood and Eagle Springs.
A Licensed Engineer in the State of Texas, Ms. Keller earned a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Houston and a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
Raised in a military family and having traveled extensively when young, Ms. Keller has been happy to put down roots in the Houston area since 1992. She has served as a Board Member for various Municipal Utility Districts since 2000 and in 2017 was named a Director for Girls Inc. of Greater Houston.
