It’s a repeat for Land Tejas, who once again has two communities ranked among the nation’s top-selling, according to Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO).
The housing research firm recently released its list of the nation’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities. Land Tejas’ Balmoral community once again is among the nation’s 20 best-selling communities, ranked at No. 18 with 704 new-home sales. It is the fourth top-selling community in Texas. Sierra Vista/Sterling Lakes along the Highway 288 corridor is ranked No. 32 with 579 new-home sales.
“A combination of exceptional homebuilders, a world-class amenity package and prime location continues to drive home sales in Balmoral,” said Land Tejas Chief Operating Officer James Henrie. “Sierra Vista also remains popular with buyers, experiencing a 22 percent year-over-year increase in sales.”
Balmoral is home to the state’s first Crystal Lagoons® amenity — a two-acre lagoon of turquoise waters surrounded by white-sand beaches and palm trees. The lagoon anchors Balmoral’s Amenity Village, which has been named “Best Community Amenity” in the 2020 Texas Association of Builders Star Awards. Since the lagoon opened in late 2018, sales have soared in the community.
Sierra Vista offers a wide variety of floor plans priced from the $200,000s. Residents enjoy shared amenities with Sterling Lakes located next door.
Now celebrating 25 years of residential development, Land Tejas has 12 current communities, including Sunterra in Katy and Marvida in Cypress, which opened late last year. Coming this year is Cypress Green in Cypress.
