Where is the best place to harvest some Halloween fun? Lago Mar! Not only do we have some great resident-only activities lined up, our “spell-tacular” location means you can get from harvest festivals to haunted houses and still be home in time to greet trick-or-treaters.

BOO on the Boardwalk

Prepare for freaky Fridays, spooky Saturdays and scary Sundays throughout October at the Boardwalk. Activities include costume contests, zombie train rides, spooky story hours, trick-or-treating, music, the Little Boo Haunted Fun House and more.

Dungeon of Doom

Take a stroll through the dark side of reality (actually the breezeway under the Boardwalk Inn) where monsters and other denizens of the underworld await.

Haunted Mayfield Manor

$10 per victim, 11 and up only

Texas’ only year-round haunted house is especially spooky in October. Tour 12 rooms of terror meeting ghosts, ghouls and the insane Dr. Mayfield along the way.

League City Harvest Festival

Gather the kiddies and head out to League City for some not-so-scary family fun including live music, hayrides, costume contests, children’s activities, a craft show, food and more.

BOO Dash 5K and Kids Fun Run

$40 adults, $15 kids to run, watching is free

Prepare to run off that Holloween candy at the inaugural BOO Dash. Come in costume or come as you are. After the race there will be a costume contest, haunted tunnel, trick or treating, and more.

Saengerfest Mini Monster Bash

Visit Galveston for family-friendly fun that includes trick-or-treating throughout downtown, games, crafts, face painting, treats and a costume contest. Contestants will compete for Cutest, Scariest and Most Creative for age groups 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-11.

Station 4 Annual Haunted House

Spend a spooky night at the fire station, a unique haunted house perfect for ages 12 and up.

Hallowpalooza Festival

Texas City will celebrate Halloween with a haunted house, costume contest, “trunk-or-treating,” games and more.
