Dickinson
Visit the Holiday Market at the Depot featuring a farmers market, crafts, food, face painting, balloon art and more. Pictures with Santa will be available for $30. Proceeds go to help restore the Dickinson Railroad Depot Museum.

Join the thousands of visitors who flock every year to the Dickinson Festival of Lights. The walk-thru event is open nightly, weather permitting, and features a 22-foot-tall Christmas tree, photo opportunities, a cookie decorating station, snacks and light displays. Photos with Santa will also be available Friday through Sunday and nightly from Dec. 19-23. Parking, admission and shuttle service is free.

Texas City
Gather around for the annual Mayor’s Tree Lighting to kick off the Christmas season in Texas City featuring holiday festivities and turning the lights on the city Christmas tree.

Get in the Christmas spirit with Texas City’s annual Christmas Parade that goes down Palmer Highway to Downtown 6th Street.

Play in the snow at Texas City’s annual Snow Spectacular event, featuring snow slides, separate play areas for big kids and small kids, photo opportunities with Santa, shopping vendors, and arts and crafts for children. Attendees are encouraged to dress warm for the snow at this outdoor event.

Bring the family to the outdoor Tree Lighting Ceremony at Tanger Outlets Houston. Besides the lighting of the 36-foot tree, the event also features a DJ, magical snow, and photo opportunities with Santa and a real reindeer.

Enjoy a holiday movie, treats and more while dressed in your coziest pajamas at the Adaptive Holiday PJ Party put on by Texas City Parks and Recreation. The inclusive event is open to all abilities and ages.

League City
See the unveiling of the famous handcrafted, 6-foot-tall Gingerbread House this year at the South Shore Harbour Resort. The free event for all ages will also include music, a visit from Santa and cookies.

Spend the day in League City’s Historic District for Nutcracker in the Park, a day full of holiday fun and shopping. Activities include a small business market, crafts for kids, food trucks and the city’s annual tree lighting. Enjoy free hot chocolate from 5-6 p.m. and a commemorative ornament giveaway before the tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.
