There’s enough there that you can target certain muscle groups one day and return the next to work on others.
Residents can add in cardio by walking, jogging or biking to the park.
But that’s not all Balmoral residents are excited about – Land Tejas has more outdoor recreation in store for them later this year when Victory Park opens.
Children and adults alike will enjoy playing at the park. Two playgrounds are planned — one for tikes ages 2 to 5 and another for kids age 5 through 12. Those wanting to play ball can do so at the tennis court or the basketball pavilion. Seatwalls at the pavilion make it easy to watch the game. A sports field can be used for soccer or baseball.
But Land Tejas isn’t stopping there. The park will also have an amphitheater with seating and a multi-use stage, and a picnic pavilion with restrooms. The outdoor kitchen at the pavilion will make it easy to grill up some burgers and hot dogs for a lunchtime break from all of the play.
Connecting homes with amenities are community trails — including the 12-foot GreenBoLT trail that can accommodate a golf cart, Segway or other non-gasoline-powered transportation.
