Holiday activities are in full swing in the Bay Area giving everyone a much-needed boost to the holiday season. All venues are making a special effort to ensure the safety of attendees, so there is no reason to skip the holiday fun.

Here is where Lago Mar residents will be spending their time:

Jingle on the Boardwalk

Kemah Boardwalk
1-5 p.m. Fri.-Sun., Dec. 4-20

Ring in the season at Kemah Boardwalk. The annual tradition returns with holiday tunes, stilt walkers, hot cocoa, the chance to visit Santa’s Workshop and a special appearance by the Grinch.

Moody Gardens Festival of Lights

6-10 p.m. nightly through Dec. 2

Two million lights will brighten your holidays and Moody Gardens. The ahhh-inspiring stroll set to holiday music is just one of the many activities families can enjoy. Also included in the admission price are holiday 3D films, Rudolph in 4D, the Arctic Slide, train rides and more.

League Park has gone all in with the holiday décor making it the perfect backdrop for holiday photos. The holiday scene in front of the red train caboose features Nutcracker soldiers, dozens of crimson poinsettias and several lighted Christmas trees adorned with red and gold ornaments.

59th Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade

Clear Lake

More than 60 brightly decorated power and sailboats will traverse the Clear Lake channel from the South Shore Harbour Marina and the Nassau Bay Lagoon to Galveston Bay. Grab your spot along both sides of Kemah Boardwalk, Clear Lake Shores and Davis Road Canal.

Happy Holiday Hoopla

League Park

Free

League City is hosting a holiday celebration promising food trucks, entertainment, music, craft and artisan vendors plus free League City swag. At 5:30 p.m., Santa and his elves will stop by for free hot chocolate. There will also be an Ugly Sweater Contest and a screening of “Elf” under the stars.

Girls Night Out Cookie Decorating Workshop

Learn how to make holiday cookies that would impress a Food Network host at this workshop led by Cakes by Tia. You will be given hands-on training and dinner catered by Red Oak Café.

Breakfast With Santa

Enjoy a yummy drive-thru breakfast with Santa who will be greeting guests from inside a snow globe so children can safely have their pictures taken with him.

Nutcracker in the Park

$10 for League City residents, $12 non-residents

Meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, Nutcracker Prince, the Mouse King and more at this special 30-minute workshop where kids can take a ballet class or build a sword. Participants will receive a goodie bag. Space is limited and pre-registration required.

Santa Hustle Galveston 5k & Half Marathon

Get ready to channel Santa and raise money for the Galveston County Food Bank. Swag includes a Santa hat, Santa beard, Santa hoodie and a finisher medal.

MIRACLE! Pop-Up Bar

The MIRACLE Pop-up Bar returns to Galveston for another round of holiday-themed libations including the Jolly Koala, On Dasher, Fruitcake Flip and the Snowball Old-Fashioned.

Space Center Houston Galaxy Lights

The twinkling lights, 3D décor and two high-tech kinetic light shows are back bringing holiday joy to everyone. New this year is a show where dozens of suspended lights move in precise choreographed sequences to music above the Main Plaza.
