Miramesa at Canyon Lakes West retains its status as one of the nation’s top-selling communities, according to a report recently released by RCLCO.
The Washington, D.C.-based national real estate consulting firm publishes an annual list of the nation’s top 50 MPCs. Rankings are based on the number of houses sold during the year, with RCLCO publishing a mid-year update in July. According to the recent report, Canyon Lakes West and Miramesa at Canyon Lakes West rank No. 41 with 177 homes sold in the last six months.
Stronger than usual interest in moderately priced housing has resulted in a 19 percent sales increase across the nation. Such homes attract both millennial first-time buyers and empty nesters. Homes that appeal to these buyers offer single-story open floor plans, smaller low-maintenance homesites and specific technology upgrades.
Top-selling communities also have amenities that encourage residents to interact socially through community centers, shared public spaces such as parks, walking paths and exercise studios. These amenities contribute to a strong sense of community, which is attractive to buyers.
For these reasons it isn’t surprising that buyers choose Miramesa. The community offers a range of home choices as well as a five-acre recreation complex. The complex serves as a community hub where families can splash in the resort-style pool, meet up with friends on the tennis court and enjoy gatherings at the 3,000-square-foot clubhouse. Other amenities include a splash pad, dog park and sports courts.
When it comes to technology, Miramesa’s is state-of-the-art, offering an advanced technology package that includes alarm monitoring and integrated digital TV, high speed Internet and next generation voice services offered over an advanced fiber optic network.
Homes in Miramesa are priced from the $200s with designs offered by leading builders including Meritage Homes, Gehan Homes, Censeo Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Ashton Woods, Lennar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Anglia Homes, Perry Homes, Century Communities and Westin Homes.
