Quality healthcare is now closer to Miramesa residents than ever before with the opening of both a 24-hour care center and a soon-to-open hospital less than 20 minutes away.
Memorial Hermann greatly expanded health care options in the north Houston area with the January opening of the Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center at 27700 Highway 290 in Cypress. The innovative facility provides one-stop, highly coordinated access to an extensive array of services including a 24-hour emergency room, primary care physicians, an imaging center, a breast care center, sports medicine and rehabilitation services and a diagnostics lab.
In addition, patients at the center can easily be transferred, if needed, to the new Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, 27800 Northwest Freeway, opening March 31. The new $168 million campus encompasses an 80-bed hospital with an emergency center, operating rooms, a 16-bed intensive care unit, labor and delivery rooms, neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac catheterization lab and Life Flight helipad. The 32-acre master-planned campus includes room for additional patient towers and medical office buildings as they become necessary. The hospital will hold an open house on March 25.
The new hospital and convenient care center are part of Memorial Hermann’s estimated $1.2 billion regional development plan that seeks to provide high-quality medical care to an area that is booming with new developments such as Miramesa.
Miramesa — the final section of master-planned Canyon Lakes West — opened two years ago, quickly posting phenomenal sales. The community offers a range of home designs, priced from the $200s, and state-of-the art amenities including a resort pool, splash pad, clubhouse, sports courts and a dog park, as well as an exclusive technology package.
