Spring Break at Lago Mar — the Beachy Fun You’ve Been Waiting For

Posted on Wednesday, March 10, 2021

Fun in the sun at our 12-acre Crystal Lagoons® amenity is back this spring break and it’s back bigger and better than ever!

Spring Break at Lago Mar starts Friday, March 12, and continues Tuesdays through Sundays through March 28. The lagoon, 3240 Lago Mar Blvd. will be open 10 a.m. until sunset, giving fun-seekers the chance to enjoy a full day relaxing on white-sand beaches and frolicking in the turquoise waters.

While some favorites from last year’s Lagoonfest will still be available — the inflatable obstacle course, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards — we’re adding even more activities, such as a catapult swing that will let you fly into the water and inflatable water jousting.

A game lawn provides more fun, with corn hole, spike ball, volleyball, giant Jenga, Spider Pong and Banzai Ball. A DJ will be spinning tunes and those wanting to work on their beach bods will enjoy lagoon-side yoga 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and lagoon-side Zumba/HIIT 2-2:45 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, both at the Paradise Shore Lawn.

Texas Trivia happens 2-3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the main pavilion and an artisan market will be open each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Those more interested in relaxation can reserve luxury cabanas and watch the action from comfortable lounges. Water-resistant chaise loungers with umbrella, sofa lounge sets with an umbrella and a pavilion also can be rented. Food trucks will offer an array of food and a full bar will be available.

Because of the pandemic, the event will operate at limited capacity to allow for adequate social distancing. That’s why we strongly encourage people wanting to enjoy our slice of paradise to make their reservations online.

So what’s it going to be? Just another playdate this spring break or something really spectacular, like Spring Break at Lago Mar? We’ll see you there.
