With roughly 290,000 students opting to attend a private school across Texas, it’s no surprise there’s plenty of private schools in the Pearland area, just a short drive from Sierra Vista.

Approximately 8,500 kindergarten through 12th grade students residing in a Pearland ZIP code were enrolled in a private school, according to the 2023 American Community Survey 5-year estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. This means nearly 8% of the local population age 3 and older is receiving a private education. If you’re checking out private schools, too, here’s the scoop on 12 schools within a short commute of Sierra Vista:

Divine Savior Academy Sienna is ranked No. 32 out of 333 private schools for being the most diverse high school in Texas, according to recent Niche ratings.
